Vigil for Sudan

New York University students held a vigil to “Stand Up For Sudan” last week in Washington Square Park. Death estimates in the war-torn country vary widely and go as high as 400,000, including many African civilians who have been slaughtered by Arab militia groups. Some international observers classify the killings as genocide.
