FREE MUSICAL PERFORMANCE Composer Harold Seletsky will captivate the audience with the premiere of his new works to be performed by West End Klezmorim, “a swinging sextet,” and the Lavender Light Gospel Choir, which is a gay and lesbian chorus. SACRED SERVICE FOR THE SABBATH EVE As part of the “Splendor of Florence” festival, the Riverside Choral Society will perform a concert by Florentine composer Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco. This performance on Sun, Oct. 10 at 2:30pm will mark the first time “Sacred Service” has been presented in the U.S. in nearly 30 years. Museum of Jewish Heritage, 36 Battery Place. FRIDAY NIGHT CONCERTS The Third Street Music School Settlement presents the Faculty Artist Series 2004-2005 with 28 free Friday night concerts.
