Election night showdown is a hoedown
The High Noon Bush-Kerry showdown party at Florent, 69 Gansevoort St., in the Meat Market on election night was a real hoedown. Unfortunately, many who paid for dinner to attend saw their candidate John Kerry go down. But at least there was an exciting show on the bar top, including performances by the Pontani Sisters from left, Helen, Angie and Tara and Angelo Iodice, a.k.a. A. J. Silver, and the showdowns host, drag king Murray Hill. The Wau Wau Sisters, Adrienne and Tanya, also got in on the act.
