Ghouls galore and more at Village Halloween Parade

Thousands of people lined Sixth Ave. from Spring St. to 21st St. to watch the 31st Annual Greenwich Village Halloween Parade. This year’s theme was sweet things. The parade is always one of the biggest business nights of the year for the neighborhood. A police spokesperson said there were no reports of any major incidents in connection with the parade. Police typically say Halloween is one of the safest nights in the Sixth Precinct.
