N.Y.U. gets $21 million endowment

New York University received a $21 million endowment for the school’s General Studies program from the Yalincak family, whose son is a current N.Y.U. undergraduate student.

N.Y.U. plans to use the endowment to find and develop a permanent space for the General Studies program at its Washington Sq.-area campus. The new General Studies center will be formally named after the Yalincak family.
