Villager photo by Bob Arihood Hack handcuffed On Oct. 3, police arrested a yellow cab driver who reportedly had hit a pedestrian about 10 p.m. in the East Village and then fled the scene. The driver stopped short of Avenue A on St. Mark’s Pl., exited the cab and ran into nearby Nino’s pizzeria. According to witnesses, there was a scuffle inside, during which one officer was injured, before the driver was collared and led outside about 20 minutes later. |
