Saint Joseph’s School’s basketball team, the Eagles, had a third winning season, posting a 12-0 record. Players on the Greenwich Village parochial school team range in age from 8-12. This season, however, the team took on three extra players ages 4 and 5. The team received strong support from team parents and Saint Joseph’s principal, Mrs. Gabella. They were sponsored by Swizz Beatz, executive producer of Full Surface Records. The Eagles continue to follow their motto: “On eagles’ wings we soar to new heights with God as our pilot and guide.” |
