Gaddafi and other ghouls are a thriller at parade
This year’s Greenwich Village Halloween Parade’s theme was “I of the Beholder,” and it certainly was a feast for the eyes. Costumes ranged from recently deposed Libyan strongman Muammar Gaddafi to skin-and-bones-bearing paint jobs. It was also a feast for the ears, or maybe guests at the Trump Soho condo hotel would say, an assault on those sensory organs; the thumping music played at the parade’s starting point by the hotel was deafening.
