Fly’s ‘PEOPs Show’ worth a peek

The opening of “PEOPs Show,” an exhibit of the cartoonist Fly’s PEOPs portraits, will be held Thurs., Nov. 10, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Lower East Side Girls Club, 56 E. First St.

The opening will feature some surprise PEOPs readings, a continual DVD-show screening of PEOPs, and at 7 p.m. a special poetry reading by Felix Asherah Chrome.

“PEOPs Show” runs through Dec. 5. Gallery hours are Tuesday to Friday, 12 noon to 6 p.m. Call for Saturday hours.

There will also be a Comix, Zines Art and D.I.Y. presentation and panel on Sat., Nov. 19, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., with Fly, Cristy Road, Ayun Halliday and Sarah Quinter.
