Zuccotti Park-pourri
The Occupy Wall Street scene in Zuccotti Park, at Liberty St. and Broadway, is a veritable political Woodstock, a protest potpourri. Clockwise from above left: A protester quietly knitted; others loudly drummed; still others relaxed and grabbed naps in an area with the squatter lightning-bolt symbol and artist Peter Missing’s “The party’s over” upside-down martini glass icon that both used to be graffitied all over the East Village in the 1980s.
