Clauses (and community council) deliver for kids

Hundreds of neighborhood children met Santa and Mrs. Claus and got free toys at the Ninth Precinct Community Council’s Holiday Party on Saturday. The event ran from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the schoolyard opposite the precinct, at 321 E. Fifth St. This page, clockwise from top left: Ruby, 4, was hoping for a car; a stilt walker entertained the crowd; at last, the Clauses — Sally Osborne, a former officer, and Joe Frasier, a Ninth Precinct officer — arrived. Opposite page, clockwise from top: Despite the freezing weather, New York University’s Dance Squad kicked it; a Hummer and Hot Wheels Super Jump Raceway — cool! Hoping to get the Boogie Superstar game, Kasi, 10, kept warm with the blanket from her bed.
