Forum for District 1 candidates

Community Media will sponsor a forum for the candidates in the District 1 City Council race on Mon., Aug. 17, at Pace University. The five candidates in the race for the Lower Manhattan seat are City Councilmember Alan Gerson, Pete Gleason, Margaret Chin, Arthur Gregory and PJ Kim. The forum will be held at 1 Pace Plaza, entrance at Spring St., in the multipurpose room. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., the forum, which is free and open to the public, will start promptly at 7 p.m. and end at 8:30 p.m. The co-moderators will be Lincoln Anderson, associate editor of The Villager, and Josh Rogers, associate editor of The Villager’s sister paper Downtown Express.
