Avant-garde after party
Musician J.G. Thirlwell, left, and filmmaker/author Nick Zedd looked like they were having fun recently at Collective Hardware, 169 Bowery, at the after party for Blank City following its Tribeca Film Festival premiere. The documentary covers New Yorks punk and No Wave underground film movement from 1977 to 1987. Thirlwell is also known by his many aliases, such as Clint Ruin, Steroid Maximus and Foetus, to name a few.
