Kung fu convention cop
On Aug. 23, at a Denver Election Commission building on Steele St. that had been temporarily rented by the Sheriff’s Department for use as a detention facility for arrested protesters during the Democratic National Convention, an officer displayed his nunchucks. The martial arts weapon of Chinese origin is standard issue for Denver police.
