Band was really cracking
Lead singer Sturgeon and Leftover Crack were the closing rock band at last weekends punk palooza commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Tompkins Square Park riots. Sturgeon and some other members of the ska/crust-core unit live in See Sqwat, a squatter building on Avenue C. The point of Leftover Crack is to be as offensive as possible without being racist, sexist, homophobic or fascist, Sturgeon has said.
