Gardening festival

The Parks Department and the National Gardening Association are presenting the second annual NYC Grows, a free all-day gardening festival in Union Square Park beginning at 10 a.m. Sun., April 27. The interactive event sponsored by Target will include gardening exhibits and advice, healthy cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs, plants for sale and a children’s activities area.
