Monumental snow idea results in miniature park arch
From left, Jeffrey Kuhn, Michele Herman and Lee Kuhn used the snowfall on Feb. 23 in Hudson River Park to build a model of the Washington Square Arch, which Herman posed under while her kids flanked her. Giving pointers as they worked was dad Jonathan Kuhn, the Parks Department’s director of art and antiquities, who had a major role in overseeing the arch’s restoration several years ago.
