Divine wind on Ave. B?
Powerful winds on Sunday blew down the sidewalk shed around St. Brigid’s Church at Eighth St. and Avenue B. No one was injured. Was it a sign? The night before, a fundraiser was held at Solas bar on E. Ninth St. for the Save St. Brigid’s Committee’s court fight to keep the archdiocese from razing the 1848 church.
