On the street: Cab crash and cash machine bash

Above left, on the Lower East Side, a poster on an A.T.M. in front of a bodega on Stanton St., between Ludlow and Orchard Sts., asks people to be on the lookout for a suspect wanted for vandalizing local cash machines, probably including that one. Above right, after a parked taxi started rolling on Ludlow St. at the corner of Rivington St. a couple of weeks ago, the driver jumped in and, instead of the brake, hit the accelerator, plowing into a streetlight.
