L.E.S. Chop Shop has top tastes for the holidays

From left, Anne Apparu, Agathe Snow and Marianne Vitale, seen in a photo from 2006 around this same time of year, are again running their Chop Shop gourmet cooking and catering food phenomenon out of Vitale’s Lower East Side loft. The subject of a profile in last weekend’s New York Times Magazine, Chop Shop has been described as an “underground holy day food palace and performance extravaganza.” Two sisters and a friend, they make all the food themselves on the premises.
