There goes the neighborhood!
Jim “Mosaic Man” Power reacted upon seeing “yuppies” hanging out on a fire escape of the former St. Mark’s Pl. Art Squat, a.k.a. The Cave, where he used to live. Power, the artist who has decorated the East Village’s lampposts with tile mosaics, is currently homeless after losing an apartment he was using on E. 15th St. His friends are trying to help him find supportive housing.
