Eduardo Arrocha, who lives in the East Village, is Eak the Geek in the Coney Island Circus Sideshow. He’s also known as the Painproof Man — in his act, three audience members stand on his chest while he lies sandwiched between two beds of nails — and the Man Who Tattooed His Face Like Outer Space. After 14 years as Eak, he’s taking a break this summer. He plans to enter law school in the fall to become a civil rights attorney. Offstage he prefers to be called Eduardo.
