 East River capsize
A Police Department Harbor Patrol unit went to the aid of a man in the East River off East River Park at E. Sixth St. shortly before 1 a.m. on Sat., May 12, after his 16-foot boat capsized. The boat struck an unidentified object near a construction barge, police said. The accident victim, not identified by police, was wet but not injured.
