Jumped in front of train

Early Monday afternoon, a man in his 50s jumped in front of the Downtown Lexington Ave. local train at the Bleecker St. station, police said. The man had no ID. Subway service in both directions was halted. The body was removed at 1:30 p.m., above, after which Uptown service resumed. Downtown service was suspended for a longer period.
