The mammoth and much-anticipated — and by some neighboring merchants, feared — Lower East Side Whole Foods Market has finally opened. Located on E. Houston and Chrystie Sts. in the Avalon Chrystie Place building, the store features natural and organic food and products. It’s Manhattan’s largest supermarket.
