Duane’s ‘invasion of the pod person’ continues on the ’Net

State Senator Tom Duane’s second podcast is online and ready for downloading by constituents and political junkies from all over New York State. In his latest podcast, Duane shares his strategies for getting things done as a member of the minority party in the New York State Senate. The podcast, recorded before Democrat Craig Johnson’s victory in the Nassau County State Senate special election, offers a primer on the legislative process in New York State, as Duane explains how to move legislation in Albany on a procedural level, and on a personal one. The audio is interspersed with catchy jazz music, heavy on the bongos.

The podcast’s creator/producer is Duane legislative aide Adam Riff. Reviewing Duane’s podcast, Daily News political blogger Errol Louis wrote, “State Senator Tom Duane has an unusually well-produced podcast.” Duane’s podcasts are listed on Apple iTunes and all other major podcast directories and are posted on his Web site, http://www.tomduane.com/podcast.htm.
