Last Wednesday, on the sidewalk at Second Ave. and 11th St., Zbigniew Zolkowski created a cross of boxes of chocolate with a sign stating Free box or 2 to all Catholics. Zolkowski said it was art with the message that charity shouldnt be denomination driven. He said anyone, Catholic and non-Catholic, was welcome to a box or 2. Above, East Villager Sharon Itkoff took advantage of the free offer. Until recently Zolkowski who helps run a shelter at a Methodist church in Greenpoint lived on St. Marks Pl.
