Agenda items include an interpretation by the Division of Housing and Community Renewal of the demolition provisions of the Rent Stabilization Law that allow landlords to use an interior renovation as a reason to evict rent-stabilized tenants

public forum
Mon., March 6, 6:30 p.m. , Public School 34, 730 E. 12th St. (between Avenues C and D) Greening a Block — A Public Forum — sponsored by Neighborhood Energy Network and co-Sponsored by Community Board 3: A proposal to use funds received by the community from Con Edison settlement for the expansion of the 14th St. plant.  Funds would be used for a pilot program on one block to achieve gains in air quality and energy conservation by installing state-of-the-art, energy-efficiency measures.
