Diether does zoning lecture series
Doris Diether, zoning consultant and vice chairperson of the Community Board 2 Zoning Committee, will give a series of four evening lectures, Decoding Zoning in NYC on successive Wednesdays from Oct. 12 to Nov. 4 at the CUNY Graduate Center, 365 Fifth Ave. at 34th St.
The lectures, sponsored by The Municipal Art Society and the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter, are from 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m. and begin with An Overview of Zoning, Past and Present on Oct. 12, and continue with Zoning and Aesthetic Impact on Oct. 19, Uses and Signs on Oct. 26 and The Role of Agencies on Nov. 2.
