A taste of Union Square
The recent Harvest in the Square saw 50 top neighborhood restaurants offer up delicious fare under a big tent at the 10th annual food-tasting event. The Sept. 22 fundraiser was sponsored by the Union Square Partnership business improvement district and local development corporation and benefits the Partnership’s neighborhood initiatives. Proceeds from this year’s Harvest in the Square will help fund the multimillion-dollar Capital Campaign for the Completion of Union Square Park, which will include expanded playgrounds, a restored pavilion and enhancements to the Greenmarket plaza.
