Wild West East Village
At The Play Outside! Festival of Free Outdoor Theater in La Plaza Cultural de Armando Perez on E. Ninth St. last Thursday, Buckaroo Bindlestiff’s Wild West Jamboree wowed both kids and adults. There was lasso twirling — with both hands and tongue, above — sword swallowing, gun juggling and live music, and kids got to ride a horse, er mop, through an obstacle course. And it was all in the context of a history lesson about the old West.
