Hats off to milliner’s return
Amy Downs, left, was back selling her hats on Ludlow St. recently. However, she’s now based in Seattle, and does a lot of her business by Internet. Downs former hat store on Ludlow St. was one of the early wave of new businesses. She was eventually priced out and briefly reopened on E. 14th St.
