Much respect for FEX

Friends of Joseph Locascio, 22, gathered by a new memorial mural to him by Chico at Broome and Attorney Sts. Locascio, 22, was stabbed to death in July 2004 on Jefferson St. on the Lower East Side by the LaGuardia Houses complex, where he was formerly a resident. In November 2004, police arrested Kevin Knox, then 18, a resident of 65 Jefferson St., in the killing of Locascio, who was also know by his graffiti tag, FEX. Knox has pleaded not guilty to murder charges. His next court date is Sept. 21.
