Diners at BBQ on University Pl. had an African flavor with their meals thanks to a West African drumming performance. Kiboko Projects, known for its Diary Project — which fosters connections through mask-making and diaries between international youth — at St. Mark’s Church in the Bowery, helped organize the event, which will have a repeat performance soon.
