Brazilian performer at New School

The Brazilian singer/actor/dancer, Alesh DuCarmo, will premier his new show, “Mysticus,” with a five-piece Brazilian band in a free performance at 7:30 p.m. Fri. Nov. 7 in Tishman Auditorium of New School University, 66 W. 12th St. “Mysticus,” a 60-minute celebration of life, features DuCarmo in a program written in collaboration with Timaeus Egan that combines song, dance and music. Liza Renia Papi designed the set and costumes and the musicians include Arthur Dutra, Zé Mauricio, Oriente Lopez, Gustavo Saiani and Italguara. The show includes playful audience participation.
