The restoration of the ancient Roman urn in Grace Church’s Rector’s Garden is almost complete, but not quite. In a week, a darkened stainless-steel permanent lid will be installed, replacing the plastic lid seen above. The urn, estimated to be around 2,000 years old,  was found in the 1880s near the site of Nero’s palace.
