Woman slashed
According to police, on Sat., Jan. 31, at 1:25 p.m., a 30-year-old woman was
inside a residential building near the intersection of Jefferson and Madison Sts. when she was approached by a man who, unprovoked, cut her on the right side of her face with an unknown sharp object.

Stick up in Soho
A man walked into a Thai restaurant in Soho at 10:25 p.m. on Wed., Feb. 11, brandished a firearm and shot one round into the ceiling — all the while demanding cash, police say.
After firing the shot, a female employee, 26, at Lan Larb at 227 Centre St. opened the cash register. The man took the cash tray out, grabbed $200 and then fled, police say.
Teen girl robbed
A thief snatched a $150 phone out of the hand of a teenage girl who was walking in the Financial District earlier this month, police say.
On Fri., Feb. 6 at around 6 p.m. the teenager, 15, said that the thief ran up to her at the corner of Liberty St. and Broadway, grabbed the LG Optimus L70 out her right hand and ran off. The teenager, who lives in East Harlem, was not injured. Police did not release a description of the suspect nor were they able to track the phone, which was shut off.
Pricey jumpsuits stolen
A Federal Express employee left his hand truck outside a high-end store in Soho on Mon., Feb. 2 at around 2 p.m. — and a thief took it as an opportunity to snap up a box of 10 jumpsuits worth $6,980, police say.
The male employee, 52, said that he had left the boxes unattended while he was making a delivery at Intermix at 98 Prince St. Video from the store show a man removing the box from the hand truck and then taking off.
