Damage from Hurricane Sandy kept the “water playground” at the Jane St. Pier (Pier 51) out of action. But now, the Hudson River Park Trust is finally set to reopen the popular playground. The official reopening had been set for Thurs., July 3. But due to the previous day’s heavy rainfall, it has been rescheduled to Fri., July 4.
