Surprise surprise. Under the Bloomberg administration, and his girl Amanda burden and a city council that obeys Bloomberg what else would the tax paying citizens expect. What happens when all the air rights are sold, and there will be zero light in this fair city. I'm sure they will find a way to sell some other fantasy scheme to literally take our breath away. No wonder so much asthma. Shame on New York .
Its sad to see that something like this happens in our neighbourhood during Christmas…
It is not good news for Chelsea property developer. The purchase comes with air rights, and the developers are hoping to build a high story building on Christmas.
Interesting that the property and air rights were bought from a church. What's that thing in the Ten Commandments about not telling lies?
SAM SPOKONY, please do a follow-up story about the hideous plans the Einhorns unveiled, to be sandwiched between century-old red-brick buildings, a concrete and gray glass modern monstrosity. Both the church and the developer should be ashamed of their behavior. The lack of respect for their neighbors and the neighborhood, which will be irreparably scarred and blighted by this arrogantly ugly high-rise building.
