Birds of a feather…

Larry Reddick, a.k.a. “The Bird Guy,” is one of the denizens of Washington Square Park’s west side. Frequently festooned with pigeons, Reddick hangs out near where Ricky Syers brings his marionettes, Mr. Stix and “Little Doris” — a miniature version of veteran Community Board 2 member Doris Diether — to enchant passersby. Now “Little Larry” is the newest member of Syers’s marionette family. “I used to be homeless living on that bench,” Reddick said recently, pointing to his regular spot. “I have an apartment in Brooklyn now.”  Photo by TEQUILA MINSKY
