House of Cupcakes recently opened at Seventh Ave. South at Grove St. And if that wasn’t enough, a few blocks to the south, IHOP (the International House of Pancakes) has opened on Carmine St. near Seventh Ave. South. Only time will tell if this is a mere coincidence or if the “House of” eateries trend will sweep the Village.
