Chupi watch: Getting plastered

Workers at Julian Schnabel’s Palazzo Chupi on W. 11th St. between West and Washington Sts. have been plastering spots on the whimsical building’s faded pink facade lately. Could it be setting the stage for the application of a fresh coat of Pompei red paint?
