BY JEFFERSON SIEGEL  |  Nicholas Gruber, the former boyfriend of fashion designer Calvin Klein, was arrested at his Greenwich St. apartment early Tuesday morning.

Gruber, 22, a former model, was holding a party in his penthouse apartment when he began fighting with his friend, Calvin Swint, 20.

Just after 4 a.m., Gruber is accused of grabbing Swint’s genitals. The two then went into the building hallway, where Gruber punched Swint in the face.

Once police arrived, Gruber flailed his arms while trying to resist being handcuffed, then appeared to be stuffing something down his pants. Once police restrained him, they found a baggie containing what they believed was cocaine.

Gruber, wearing only a white T-shirt and sporting a cut under his left eye, appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court late Tuesday night. He was charged with assault, resisting arrest and drug possession and was given bail. Gruber declined to speak with reporters as he rushed out of the courthouse.

Supreme Court Justice Abraham Clott issued an order of protection forbidding Gruber to have contact with Swint. Gruber must return to court on Aug. 9.
