Wishing police don’t drone on

This new sign might make the operators of the corner deli at Houston St. and Sixth Ave. feel safer — or maybe not. According to the New Yorker magazine, the sign and others like it are the work of an Army veteran incensed over the New York Police Department’s exploring the possibility of starting a drone program, which would use unmanned surveillance aircraft to spy down on the city from above.
