Possibly radical snow is penned?

Some serious snowfall was predicted last Friday, but the few flakes noticed wouldn’t even qualify as a flurry. So it was perplexing to see two humongous snow piles behind police barriers in Union Square Friday evening. We’ve recently learned about microburst windstorms — but a microburst snowstorm? Maybe the drones dropped them there? Actually, according to Shane Kavanagh, a spokesperson for the Union Square Partnership, the snow was from some Parks Department event.
